│ [H]elp Information @3F@Online Help @31@Netmail Message │@31@
└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘@0A@
Presented on the previous screen is a list of all the nodes in the
various networks that you can send a message to. By selecting the number
enclosed in brackets, the address and SysOp name will be used in the
netmail message. Numerous other options are also available as described
below.
@0E@[@0F@1..12@0E@]@0A@
Presented here are the associated item numbers that allow you to
choose a destination address. Entering the number followed by
pressing @0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@]@0A@ selects the associated address and name information
and returns you to the previous screen.
@0E@[@0F@D@0E@]etail -@0A@
Choosing this option allows you to select an address to display
detailed information on. Specifically, the nodes entire information
from the nodelist will be displayed. This is a 'information only' type
option allowing you to verify that it's the correct system to send the
message to.
@0E@[@0F@S@0E@]croll -@0A@
When browsing the nodelist, pressing the @0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@]@0A@ key will display the
next screenload of information. This option allows you to toggle
the direction (Fwd or Rev) in which the nodelist information will be
displayed. The current direction is always displayed at the bottom of
the screen just above the prompt.
@0E@[@0F@F@0E@]ind -@0A@
This option allows you to specify a search string to locate a
specific user name or fido style address. Selecting this option
followed by pressing @0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@]@0A@ presents you with a prompt to specify
the search string to be used.
Upon pressing @0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@]@0A@ a second time, the information entered will be
parsed to determine if it was a user name or address. If a user name
was specified, the closest match (if not the exact match) will be
found and highlighted accordingly. Likewise, if an address was
determined, the appropiate match will be displayed in the same manner.
What also happens is that after the search string has been determined
(either an address or a name), the sort order of the nodelist entries
will be changed to reflect the search string. So if you enter a
fido style address (or portion thereof), the display will be
sorted by address. If you select a user name, the display will be
sorted on the users last name.
The sort order change is completely automatic and provides for some
rather interesting browsing. The current sort order is always
displayed at the bottom of the screen just above the prompt.
@0E@[@0F@H@0E@]elp -@0A@
Displays this help screen.
@0E@[@0F@Q@0E@]uit -@0A@
Exit browse mode and return to the Main Menu.
